a few of us went to pod yesterday and had one of the best days there for runs, i managed to do 43 runs as it was dead as hell, weather and traction were both good aswell... got a couple pics of martins tb'ed beast ( so love this car ) and a couple of vids aswell... feel free to add pics and vids to this thread anyone who went..... ( my best was 14.4 @ 97mph )

Was a fooking awesome day on the whole...if I only managed 32 runs lol

Best I could muster was 13.79@105.85mph Tom....the car has been remapped and timed since it was last run...and although it gives awesome pull at top end of the revs it makes lauching tricky....I'm not bothered though I'll just get stickier tyres!:evil:

Well it done 13.4@103mph apparantly but I can't work out how lol....when craig & mehdi ran at york they were doing 13.8/13.9...

Anyway if I invest in slicks I want to go beat Nick Read's 13.3...

I had 2 runs an on the first one after i change 1st to 2nd i heard a bang thought nothin of it. on the second one after gettin a great start with notorious gone 1st,2nd same noies went for 3rd couldnt find it. RESUALT SNAPED MOUNT 50MPH ALL THE WAY HOME. LIKE THE VID MATE IF ID HIT 3RD I DONT THINK YOU WOULD OF ONE THAT ONE KID!!!

nah it was fine, gets a hammering everyday so is use to it, plus its only 14k old. shame the same could'nt be said for this poor 182/172 who dropped a load of oil over 1 of the strips:dapprove: ( not sure if it was gearbox or eng oil )

update on the gearbox! Gear box casing is cracked in half, clutch ripped to pieces, all gears striped, top gear box mount snaped in 3 places and the gear linkage rod is bent. Only £900 worth of damage! :dead:
