Was a good blast today, can't have asked for better weather. Interesting diversion led by Rhys down a cracking singletrack road - I think a lot of us felt like Colin McRae for a few minutes LOL.
Cannae even take a slash in piece without getting photographed in the act though...
The 197 made a much better impression on me in the flesh than I expected - agree with Rory about the looks (braw from the rear, not so keen on the front) and TBH Paul wasn't exactly getting left behind at any time. Not so sure on the colour (sorry Paul), prefer the deeper red of my CTR (but what do I know, I like CTRs LOL).

. The car's an ex-Honda publicity car: used to be carted off to shows and promotions, also used for the statics in magazine shoots. It was actually commented on that we're a bunch of plate-sluts up here: out of 6 cars Alan's was the only one without a personalised plate (and I'm a greedy b*****d with 2...)

Great day out lads, with some good driving as well. Getting lost was actually the best driving portion of the trip. And I loved my big black puddin' lol.

Agree about the roads on the diversion, pretty good fun although a little bit too many blind corners and muppets coming the other way.
