Picture quality deteriorating?

Is this possible? Or am I just being lazier when taking shots/getting them wrong?

I've got a Canon 500D, which I've had since last April-ish.

Looking back at the shots I took on that first weekend of ownership, the pictures look crisp, clear and imo the best ones I've taken.

The lens/filter are clean, nothing on them.

Sure, I've only got a few on my Photobucket account worth showing.

The Mrs says there's no difference, but I suppose you're critical of your own stuff before others are. Maybe I've just had a few bad months, or I'm being picky.

Some have been through Facebook (as I've just saved them from there, and re-uploaded)

Comments/help appreciated.

They look okay to me, but it's always tricky to see pixel quality with web resolution images.

Photobucket also degrades the quality of your images (or it always used to). Give Flickr a try perhaps?

This.

I wouldn't use Photobucket either as from what I know they do still degrade the image quality. Get yourself on Flickr.
