It's easy to forget that a huge part of porsches motorsport heritage lies in rally work like the above, they've been at it for decades!

I can't remember the exact statistic, but from the base to the tip of the Pikes Peak course the cars loose something significant like 20% of their output due to the atmospheric changes.
