Hi all,

Found this phase 1 in my search for one and this seems a bargain in the current market. It’s had the sills, arches and belts done plus a respray

Am I missing something or do you think as it’s basically in miles from anywhere that’s driving the price?

It’s been for sale for a very long time. I’d say over a year minimum.

Not necessarily a bad thing but something to consider. Main reason for this I reckon is the fact it’s got quite a few random non ph1 parts on. This could be easily rectified though. I think lots of buyers are put off having to find parts especially when the price is strong.

The pictures are also a bit poor. It hasn’t been presented brilliantly.

If the belts have been done properly by a specialist, the respray and arches done properly and not hiding anything then it’s worth the money. I’d say anywhere between £3.5 - 4.5k would be a good deal.

Autotrader, I tend to just browse cars from time to time and have seen it in there for months and months if not close to a year

I don’t get why you’d paint the non painted plastic body parts. Especially when the car’s black.

Thanks all, this is super helpful. I didn’t realise that it had been for sale for a year plus, that says quite a bit

Also the non phase 1 parts aren’t ideal..

I think I will take a punt and buy a 200k one for cheap and fix it up from there.. at least I know what I am getting into.
