It depends on what you are after really.

I wanted to add in some bass and got myself (after a lot of reviews)
the "Infinity Bass Link"

Its got 2 x 10" subs self ampd
you can also run speakers off it

I have it in the boot as its space saving and does the job for me.

The pioneer is on the same lines, but ive not heard compared it to the Infinity

£224! nah dont

i bought a jbl btx220 or 250 cant remember for my 1st sub, its quite big but its a 2x10" with 300watt amp, pretty decent bit of kit bought that for £80 off the bay.

Moved on to a 15" Xplod now with a 1000watt amp, that kicks a bit more out its too big though really.

Depends weather you want some boot space really or you want the bass, i opted for bass but beggining to regret it as the 15" is big and ugly :(

This is perfect for small hatch backs. Crisp and clear bass, just enough without rattling other peoples cars.

Plays low fq's well enough and better than some 12's i had in the past.

I've got the Vibe, it's decent, but i'm tempted not to put it in... 13kg extra weight.

I used to have the vibe 10" boxed sub in the boot of my valver, the thing was great.
Deffo recommend one.

your always best going for a sub to be placed in a sub box and also a separate amp you have alot more choice

Especially when these active things get to that kinda price. that would get you a fairly good sub and amp in a deal anyways. Although i have heard good things about those FLI active subs for the price around £100 there supposed to be good. not heard one myself to comment though.
