Pipercross clean

hi all when i bought my pipercross filter i got some cleaning stuff with it... its this stuff right to use to clean it? i seem to remember someone telling me not to use it... so thought i would ask

you probably got oil with it - just clean with fairy liquid and warm water then give it a spray of oil after its dired off
