Pirelli P6000 tyres

Do not buy Pirelli P6000 tyres!*

*unless you want to go backwards through a wall (speaking from experience)

I thought you rated them Al?

What would you recommend if I spend around £50-£55 a corner? Car is getting sold soon so don't want to spend a lot

In the bone dry hot weather they aren't too bad, but anything other than that and they are pretty shocking.

I paid £55 a corner fitted (anywhere) for my PE2's.

They are not called ditchfinders for nothing!

They are fairly progressive though as you can feel the back end moving about and they brakeaway gradually. They where standard on my 306 XSi, would not purchase them out of choice though.

I'm currently running 185/55/15 H/V on Dynamique wheels, I reckon the P6000s won't be getting purchased!

PE2's in the above size are £81.90 a corner- why?!!!!

Not sure matey, hence why I went for the different size, most people reccomend them for the 15's.

I was on 185/55 but the 195/50 are much better :)

cheers Al, only thing is my front 2 tyres (with plenty of tread left) are 185/55s so I will have to keep the rears the same

I've got p6000's on my turinis (195/50/15). They seem pretty damn good to me! No complaints as yet!

I can't remeber exactly what happened to Al's old motor but were the tyres all to blame for the accident?

The P6000's are used as the main tyres from standard on the Fiesta Zetec's from memory.. i use to own one and have NEVER had any problems with them.. its all down to personal preference i believe, ive got toyo proxies on my clio currently and alot of people rate them, i;m not finding them anything special for the price at all!
