Plastic strips

Is it hard to remove the side strips on a mk2 ph2 clio. I wanted to remove them for spraying them. TA

Think if you open the door, push the rear strip towards the front of the car, and the front strip towards the rear, they move a couple of inches and then can be pulled away from the car.

Not sure how easy it is though as I'll be doing mine in a couple of days

If you look inside the drivers door on the VIN plate sticker, I think its the third number down on the left hand side. Should read something like NV followed by three numbers, eg my paint code was NV603.
