Plastic Trim

  Clio 182
Whats the best product for treating the black plastic trim on a 182 (or any car)? Anyone used autoglym bumper care?

i use triplewax car shampoo to wash the car including the plastic trim, is it better to use a specific cleaner for the plastic parts? Was just looking at protecting tbh

Plastics are just like most car parts, in that they will need cleaning of dirt/grease/prior products and sometimes waxes/polishes.

If you are just looking to protect, Chem Guys New Look trim gel, AG bumper care, 303 Aerospace protectant, or a more permanent result with C4 from GTechniq (if they ever deliver your order...).

AG bumper care is all you need really, pointless imo spending anymore money on a product for this area when AG is more than up to the task.

Fancy popping in and giving them a quick shove??

I disagree. It depends on your budget, your useage and what you want from a product. I personally don't have the time anymore for a product that will wash out after a few washes. So willing to give something that will cost me triple the price for years of lasting a go...

Poorboy's Natural Look is pretty good for plastic trim, too. You can also use it for tyres, interior plastics, leather, etc.
