can anyone please answer me three questions i have spinning around in my head.

1)Mk2 172 vs civic type R --- who would win?

2)Mk2 172 vs Mini cooper S --- who would win?

3)Mk2 172 vs Peugeot 206 RC 180 --- who would win?

win in the sence over all corners /0-60/ braking

just thought i should know so i dont mess with them if i come across them

yeh that was what i was thinking.

but i though maybe the cooper s would just get ahead of the 172. it has more BHP 190 i think??? but maybe the weight lets it down???

Cooper-S is 160 something bhp and prob not as light as youd think?

the cooper S pre 54 plate has 163 BHP and from 54 onwards has 170 BHP but weighs about 150Kg more than the clio so has no chance

I think the 172 cup/ 182 should be able to stay with the CTR, 172 may struggle a bit, alot of people on here claim the 172 cup/ 182 are significantly faster than the 172, dont know myself have only ever driven the 182

I think youre thinking of the Cooper S works -which has more bhp.

The Cooper S is 170bhp, but i think its quite heavy.

What he said, at the end of the day, there isnt gonna be much difference between any hot hatch, the expetion being the ST170, Of course, as they are PURE GAY, and slow, lol

dont underestimate the pug 206 gti 180 they are rspid over 130 my mate pulled away easily from me in my 182... nowt in it till 130
