Please help belkin are doing my f**king nut!!

Does anyone know why the belkin technical support phone number doesnt work? (0080022355460 - and it says to keep the 00)

My routers suddenly decided it doesnt want to connect to my adsl line anymore and its pissing me off!!

check the settings , also if u have the old adsl modem try that maybe its the adsl line , or the filter

thats what I'm back on now, speedtouch 330. so the line and filter are fine.

I was just working away on my laptop and it went, this sometimes happens when the router loses wireless and I just log onto the belkin router management thing (192.168.2.1) and restart the router then its all fine again.

But this time it wouldnt let me on at all and I thought it was a bit odd, looked at the router and noticed that the ADSL and wireless light wernt on, normally the wireless light just flashes if theres a problem.

So I unpluged the router and plug it back in and theres nothing there.

turn it off for a few hrs, then try it , try and see if theres a new firmware for it on there site and if u can update it do so ,

if it dont work after that if there owt like netgear they sent me one out withing 48hrs , a brand new one , and told me i had to send theres back within 2 weeks

should be somet similar for yers id imagine

have ya tried the router on another computer, or maybe if you can get into the settings of the router you might be able to update the firmware this might fix the problem.

Or if its under warrenty take it back and get a new one.

well just tried it again this morning and yep no adsl line still. so will try that firmware thing and if not I'll take it back to dixons. hope I still have the receipt..

I've ditched my Belkin router, biggest piece of s**t i've ever used. Sent them a scathing email, they never replied. Netgear all the way now.
My Belkin would drop out each day, couldn't even get onto the router. It wouldn't respond at all. It happened almost daily, sometimes 2-3x. Even though the router was over a year old, Belkin never released any firmware for it. Wouldn't touch any of their products again with a barge pole.

Netgear here too. PIece of piss to setup, out of the box, worked everyday since.

We have Belkin and Netgear here at work. Haven't had problems with any to be honest

Think I'm gonna get a Netgear one then if possible, anyone recommend a specific one, only use it for routeing to the home pc via cable then wireless to my laptop so nothing special and easy to set up would be great

Right well, my mum got hacked off that we coulnt ring their tech support so she phoned the head office to complain and they said they didnt even realise it wasnt working, like derrr if your not getting any phone calls aint it a bit obvious!!

anywhooo, they said someone would phone me back from tech support at 6 on wednesday, the call came about 7 and he agreed mine was fooked and they were sending a replacement.

Friday morning my new one came and they even sent me a better one, I had the 54G one and they've sent me the 125G so I was mucho pleased!!
