Right please read this and take 10 seconds to try and help me!

Right, my rear passenger seatbelt has locked up...
Why?

When ever i take a seatbelt out of a car at a scrapyard.. does it lock up?
Why?

How do you unlock them and why does it do it?

Help would be much appreciated

but whenever i remove one from a scrap car... obviously the belt wraps its self up... but can then never seem to unpull??

the obvious thing to do is keep pulling it gentle and fast to unlock it but guessing u've already tried that?

They unlock when fitted into the correct position.

unless the seatbelt has locked up in a crash like im guessing urs did when ur airbag went off it should unravel by pullig it gently

the seatbelt has to be at a certain angle for it to be released. it will be fine when fitted in the car.

It'll only "unwrap" at certain angles. Fit it and it'll be fine.
