Most people seem to do their own . But i have read about a few people saying they've had theirs done at local metal polishers . Your best bet would be to check yell.com for local metal polishing companys .

did you have to take it off the car?? if so how?? and how long did it take??

With average mechanical skills i'd say an hour...not rushing. Remove engine cover, 4 bolts. Disconnect the 90 degree bend from airbox. There are several connectors to the plenum which will unplug/disconnect. The ignition module will need removing, 4 bolts.
Feul rail cover held by 2 10mm bolts at front. Plenum held on by about 7 10mm bolts. Might be advisable to replace gasket too. Remove throttle body from plenum(easier than doing after plenum is off) and disconnect wiring plug.
Not as hard as it sounds....honest.
How long....will depend how busy the Polisher is....tell him you need it urgently as your going away....might help:) I waited 10 days but I don't rely on my car.

Plenum removed.....
