PMS 182 Exhaust

Looking to purchase one of these along with their sports cat, anything I need to aware of? Have read that they seem to hang abit low as standard but can be adjusted easy enough? Also read that they are abit loud, although find that hard to believe with the centre box.

With the sports cat I found it pretty loud tbh, had exactly that set up and changed it as was too much.

With oe cat apparently alot more tame.

The PMS site quotes:

“Noise levels without catalyst are 71dB at idle and 88dB at 4500 rpm.“

So thats with a decat... that’s really low level wise, my current system with a OE cat (de-restricted) is around 96db and about 103db with a decat at trackday testing.

I had the standard cat with their derestrictor welded on it was not loud at all, was the perfect system for the 182 imo and very good build quality, I just wish I got the bigger tips to fill the gap better.

Not the same but I had their system on a phase 1. Decat and unsilenced iirc. Spot on and not nearly as loud as I would have guessed

Yer I think so, would defo get the bigger ones. I was always very happy with it and I used to do 120 miles a day on the motorway and never had an issue with drone or anything.

Had their system on my 172 and was a brilliant system. It's on my list to add to the 182 soon.

Had mine on a while now. Nick had it made with custom straight cut brushed tips. Sounds the best if any I’ve heard and fit/quality for the money is the best you’ll find.
I’ve got the cat derestriction kit for MOT time but runs a full decat the rest of the time.
