Polished plenum fitting - problems?

I have just finished hand polishing my spare 182 upper plenum. Do I need to flush out the inside to get rid of dust particles or can it go straight on?

It is getting serviced in 2 days so the oil/filter will be getting changed then - will that suffice to get rid of any particles?

I taped mine up before polishing to prevent anything getting inside
