Pollution light flashing

the polution light in my 1.6 16v is flashing, any one know what could be wrong and how to fix it

Probably just an sensor on the exhaust.

You will need to get it plugged in at Renault or a specialist to find out which one.

if the censor was disconnected would it change the way the car felt, it feels like it has lost some power

Yeah, it would affect the car if a sensor was broke.

Best bet is to get it plugged in.
