Polybushing

  182, 172 Track Shed
Hi Guys,

Reckon its about time my track 172 Ph1 had some TLC and thought I'd start with replacing the bushes all round.

What bushes do people recommend for a car that's pretty much just used on track?

Any links?

Polybush wise I think it's just powerflex that produce stuff for mk2 clio and if it's purely for track then I'd go with the black bushes as they're harder (I'm personally in the process of this myself but haven't driven with them yet) or if you're really brave then theres always spherical bearings from pms, although with these I wouldn't want to use them anywhere other than on a track as there's no compliance in them at all

I bought my powerflex black series bushes from ECP, can order from local branch but they will just ring the Wembly branch who do more of the specialist parts. They don't come up on the online search but you could be cheeky and ask them to apply the midmonth20 20% discount and deliver to local store

I have used strong flex in Poland for my last 3 track cars with good results. Much cheaper than power flex, they only do up to an 80 shore bush and currently don't have an equivalent to the power flex black. For 5% off use the code alfa5 at checkout.

Just had a look and it appears that they now do 90 shore bushes too (in yellow) prices seem a lot more reasonable compared to others as well
