Poor power

  Clio 182
Got the car a few months ago with a blowing exhaust and eng light on. Repaired exhaust with new hangers clamps etc. Fault was lambda bank1 but broke the other when I dropped the cat. Replaced both sensors with proper Bosch part. Cleared faults drives perfect for a while then looses power not bad but not right also idles lumpy and hesitates slightly when cold. Heard they only like ngk plugs so replace the plugs with the proper ngk plugs and new leads idles much better but still not as quick as it was. Noticed brown residue on old plugs like un burnt fuel. Now I can smell un burnt fuel when stationary so I've replaced the coil pack with a proper renault part. Still not right. No faults stored. Wondered if it could be a blocked cat it's got a standard exhaust but it's quite loud in a dull way ? I've heard about coolant temp sensors playing up but the gauge is ok ? Any help appreciated cheers.

Don't say that ! Done @ 75 not sure who by on 92 now ? Is it common for the timing to slip ? I know it had the dephaser pulley done at the same time ? Any garages that could check that in southampton area ?

Rentech in Portsmouth is your local specialist. I and many others will testify to Mike's experience and customer service.

There just off eastern road.

Thanks. I'll give him a ring. I'm just surprised it would drive fine and still have some 5k kick if the timing was out ?
