pop up blocker Help needed

Since resetting my laptop to factory settings im getting a lot of pop ups about my registry

I have AVG and Adaware and spybot installed but these are not working like they did before How can i change this to be more sensitive. Previously i had a little bar under I.E. and in my emails it had the same

The little bar in I.E. comes as part of XP Service pack 2. Maybe "resetting" your laptop caused you to go back to a time before SP2 was installed.

Otherwise, use a proper browser like firefox

Do you mean something like the Google, MSN or Yahoo toolbar?

Had the google toolbar installed and they still came through

I used to have a wee box that you had to click sometimes to download etc and this ahs gone

Also when accessing my emails pictures where blocked and i had to manually click to make the full email appear
