Hey guys, this one belongs to Williams' mate who fitted my trendlines in my v6 last summer! So, its only fair I finally cracked on with his Porsche of which he's owned for a year now.
So he dropped her off to me on the friday night so I can crack on early saturday morning. This took me around 17 hours in total but I could have done with twice that to be fully happy with the results tbh, but I could only do what I could in the time given.
Products used were :
Autosmart Actimouss (quarter of an inch) & btbm shampoo foam mix
Autofinesse Citrus power
Autosmart g101
Autosmart smartwheels
Autofinesse Oblitarate
Autofinesse clay bar
Dodo Juice born slippy
Dodo Juice btbm & Quartz mitt
Karcher k3 ... love it!
Autofinesse drying towels (bloody bargain at 2 for a tenner! :thumb: )
Rupes rotary
Gloss It backing plates
Megs 105 & 3m yellow on touger area's
Megs 205 & 3m blue
Z6 wipe down
Blackhole Glaze applied via hand
Z6 wipe down
My very own 'Superdupa Hybrid mash up' wax :argie::argie::argie:
Z6 wipe down
Z8 to finish
Perl on the tyres
Dodo juice glass cleaner
Windows polished with megs
Autosol on the zorsts & lip of the alloys
Dodo Juice Lime prime on the wheels
As she looked on arrival
Little bit of attention needed here
She was then washed & clayed, the usual decon stuff. No need for iron x as she was pretty clean tbh. Still amazes what you achieve by a good clean/claying session though!
After a wash & clay!
Now, the polishing. It was quite tough old paint tbh, I got 90% correction colpeted but like I said I'd have loved more time. Still, for 12 years old she still has it. Its those hips & the spoiler that did it for me
Rolled out for inspection
Not bad, still needed a little more work on refining. So one last pic & I rolled her back in.
On with the polishing Then the Blackhole applied twice leaving thus
Now my lovely 'Supadupa' This stuff just smells tasty!
It has SN Hybrid, SN, BOS, R42, R55, DJ PH, I love DW & valet pro .... I think that was it!
Quick pic of the mash up
Anyway, back to the car!
Was such a great car to work on, really good fun. Sorry for the poo pics!
