ive just bought one of these but how do i exaclty attach it to my laptop?

by the looks of it, thats just a laptop docking station, looking in the 2nd picture there is a connector that the laptop will plug into, but these vary between makes/models.

Don't think they make universal ones as such

think your right mate, where do i plug it in though asuming it is the correct make and model for my laptop. am i supossed to unscrew something on my laptop?

by the looks of that one, they'll be a socket on the underneath of your laptop, might have a cover over it, you'll just remove that cover and it'll plug into that...

My friend used to have one on his very old P1-75mhz ibm laptop...

Just done a google about, and they do do univeral ones, that plug into the USB and then you get all the ports on the back such as serial, parrellel etc etc.

The bottom of the laptop will connect the ports you can see in the second picture, there should be a bit to release it afterwards when you have finished too.

just took the cover off my laptop it was underneath,
The docking station ive got is really big. oops think i bought the wrong one as it wont fit. thanks for your help though mate much appreciated!
