possible oil leak? clear oily liquid dripping

Hi,

I have had my 182 for just over a year now with no problems at all, but the past week I have noticed there appears to be a slight leak of fluid coming from the front of the car from somewhere under the engine bay.
The fluid is gathering on the underneath of the front bumper and dripping onto the drive, and turning a brown colour, but when I collect a drip between my fingers its a clear fluid with an oil like consistency.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Firstly take the dipstick out and check the colour of the engine oil. If it's been changed recently it may be clear(ish) but if not it's usually a darker colour. See if it matches the colour of the fluid you are finding.

Smell it too, you can normally get an idea of what it is by the smell.
