Third gear, 80-140 kmh / 50 - 87 mph . This will be a nice way to compare engine power, as it doesn't matter how you're driving it.
a friend on a stock ph1 172 measured 8.4 seconds.
I measured 9.6 seconds on a stock 172 ph2, full gas tank + 60kg passanger. I think mine is a bit low on power.

Nope, I didn't miss that at all. It still sounds very fast to me for a std power 172 powered vehichle.

Heres my clio 182 turbo, 270bhp 248ft lb.

Starts at 46mph and finishes at 89mph with a shitty late gear change for 2nd to 3rd due to trying to hold the camera still..

I assumed the op wanted in gear times (hence my 5seconds in 4th post). As that takes away any element of driver c**k ups etc
