Then i also got this wallpaper changer which is easy to use:

widget is the clock screenlet that comes with the screenlet package.
Icons are Ubuntu Studio
GTK is a modified cleerlooks.
Emerald theme is one I knocked up to look like the Songbird theme.

Well, most come with the package.

sudo apt-get install screenlets

I'd use Linux TBH if i had the patience to give it a fair shot, as all I use my PC for nowadays is browsing, msn, music, and email.

I think your layout looks better than vista tbh, makes me want to give it a go
