Posting/Courier Wheels

Hey

For anyone who has sent wheels with tyres via a courier, how did you package them? I have seen tyres delivered pretty much bare just with stickers on them. How would you wrap up wheels for transit?

I haven't ever sent any, but i have received a few sets, the norm is just to cover the rim face and rear of wheel with cardboard taped on

I recieved alloys they had bubble wrap over the spokes then wrapped individually in bin bags and taped up

I've sent plain with nothing on and the courier brings the label, www.senditnow.co.uk You can send any amount of packages (4 tyres\wheels etc) up to a total weight of 30kg for £10.99. Cheap and easy.

I would advise covering at leat the face of the wheels with some cardboard/bubble wrap. If you don't and they get scratched etc then the buyer will be a bit miffed...

Cool. Ill grab some boxes and cover the wheel face with a disk of card and wrap in plastic.
