POW mobile has been crashed into

Girlfriend was driving the car back from work and was turning right around a roundabout. She had indicated from the start but some wanker decided she wasn't going fast enough for him and decided to OVERTAKE on the roundabout before trying to cut in in front of her to get onto a slip road.

He never made it and crashed into the front driver's side wing. The Clio definitely needs a new front wing, bumper, light casing, grill part under the bonnet and possibly a new bonnet. Luckily my girlfriend had a passenger in the car so we have a witness who says it is completely the other driver's fault. He also thinks the guy was speeding. My girlfriend was in shock but thank god she is alright as is the passenger.

Just off the phone to Elephant and the guy was really good.

Some absolute arseholes in the road out there, watch out - it was a 40 year old in a shitty old Escort and not a boy racer

elephant were spot on when my cup had an arguement with a fiat punto!!!! they were really helpful and explained everything they were doin in detail!!!! glad everyone is ok!!!! there are some complete tw@ts on the roads!!

Cheers for the comments folks. It happened at South Queensferry John just at the roundabout before the Forth Road Bridge.

The insurance company has been really good so far touch wood. They got a garage to phone me so it is booked in for Monday to get looked at. Hopefully it will all get sorted soon.

Middo you're right mate - insurance company really needs a witness that wasn't in the car which is a bit of a bugger

That roundabout can be a nightmare at times: lanes too narrow, arseholes racing the lights, cutting across. Are there nae traffic camera monitoring congestion on that roundabout that you could use to get evidence?

You'll never get camera footage out of anyone, they just tell you the same thing every time "camera wasn't working at the time"

Hope it gets sorted and he blame doesnt end up as 50 - 50 shame there's no other witnesses, first thing I do after a crash is wave cars down lol

good thing is with the crash being on a filter road, he was meant to filter into her lane (unless he undertook) so point in your favour. Also take pictures of the road in question, and produce a diagram showing clearly what happens before you forget all the niggly little details they always want to know. At least he was insured I spose, most drivers like that arent :dapprove:

Jonesy it happened approx 5.30pm on Thurs night. Ally not sure if there are any cameras there, might investigate that but as Rory says the council probably wouldn't be a helpful bunch.

£400 excess to be paid just hope I get it back and that t**t admits responsibility. Excess goes down to £250 when you become 25!
