Power for Kenwood Head unit

DJB

  182 Cup RB Stripes
I have a quick question.

I have just fitted a Kenwood headunit in my clio and it is not saving any presets. From previous experience with other cars, changing the red/yellow power leads normally solves it...... but it hasn't.

Any tips?

Wierd one, As you've said it's usually done by switching the red/yellow

That's all i did on my old kenwood one

  Audi A3 TDI 170 B.E.
As above Kenwood headunits are all like this when fitted into the Clio, must be a French thing!!!

bump on this, have a kenwood myself. Used to be able to get power without turning the ignition can't seem to do it on this kenwood. I have two leads coming from the car. One red and one yellow. However the red lead has two power attachments.

Coming from the stereo side, again one red one yellow plugins.

Any ideas how to get constant power?
Thanks
