Power Mats?

My iphone and my wifes blackberry always needs charged, so I've been thinking of getting a powermat? does anyone have one and what do you think?

you can get a bit of wire that goes from the wall to the socket on the phone instead.

they work better and even buying two of them will be less than a powermat.

Of course, a small degree of extra effort is needed to make them work

Oh and means you don't have to walk about with a lump of plastic on the back of your phone.

So you would buy a case for the phone that has a receiver on the back, and then when you put your phone on the mat it would automatically charge right?

It needs contact between the mat and receiver doesnt it? Technology hasnt quite got far enough for it to start charging if your phone is just in the vicinity of the mat, that would be good

Dont see the point.

You still need to leave it on the mat to charge, just use the standard plug and save your ££££'s
