RS 200
Had a bit of a weird thing happen this morning. As the windscreen was frosted over I sat in the car with the heater on to melt the ice for about 10 minutes, but when I came to pull off the drive which requires full right lock, it seemed like there was now power steering. So I turned the car around about 50 yards up the road and parked it back on my drive, so that I could check the tyres to make sure they werent flat, but by the time I had done the return 50 yards the steering seemed to be almost back to normal. Anyway the tyres were fine so I pulled of the drive again and everything seemed OK and felt normal, again there were no probs tonight when I came to drive home from work.
Was this just a one off, or does the power steering fluid not like frosty conditions?
The car is a 2005 Dynamique and this has been the first frost of the year, so I guess I'll see what its like in the future.
Was thinking of seeing what the dealer thought.
Any Suggestion?
Chris
