Power to weight ratio... help

how do you work this out exactly?!?!

say I had my car... (1.2 16v dynamique) with a 172 engine and it was completely stripped out from the front back,

what would be my power to weight ratio?

1000 / car weight x bhp = bhp/ton

i weighed mine on a weighbridge at a steel works i was contracted to work for to look after their i.t 880kg exactly

120/1.05= 114.28bhp per tonne

wow! thats nothing! im gona weigh my car

& yes adam f, the 1.2s are lighter as they dont have things like traction control etc, and im pretty sure the subframe weighs more on the 172 etc.

Ive weighed mine at the local Rubbish dump, although im sure it over reads. My stripped valver came in at 980kg with half a tank, book weight is 980! lol
