Powerflex Bushes

apparently they are pretty good if yours are worn.

absolute f**king nightmare to fit though, you'l have to take the wishbones off

The inner brackets are quite awkward to reach to for a start, but more to the point, the amount you have to compress the bushes to even begin to line up the bolt with the holes on the brackets. You have to take off both triangular plates underneath to get the ARB off, and what I ended up doing was bolting the bolts for these back into their holes, bracing a small flat piece of metal against them and using a G-clamp to try and clamp the ARB back up. After that I still used longer bolts. Again, had to use the G-clamp on the wishbone ends.

Get yourself a G-clamp anyway, no way in hell will you get it back lined up with just hand power.

I've got the bottom arm bushes on mine, I replaced just about everything else connected to the steering at the same time though so it's hard to tell what difference it made

Hi again...

Since fitting the dogbone engine mount i seem to get a lot of low down vibration, What could have cause this?

Thanks

Less engine vibration is being absorbed by soft mounts, it's now being transferred to the rest of the car. Normal with firmer mounts dude :)
