powerflow exhausts !!!!!!!!

has anyone had this problem?

i have a powerflow stainless steel system on me clio.

ive had it for about 5 months, the other day me car was jacked up and i looked under the car, looked at the exhaust and noticed the pipe had started going rusty, i havent rang powerflow yet cos im not sure if the stainless steel actually disscolours. ive tried a magnet on it and the magnet sticks!

have i been ripped off? has anyone else with a powerflow exhaust noticed thishttp://forum.cliosport.net/smileys/smiley7

please help cheers

Well it doesnt answer your question but apart from the rust are they worth getting? You had any power increase? Do they sound good?

they r ok? they can make it loud which mine is! just to get noticed coz they r too quite standard.

dont know what grade it is but i didnt expect it to go rusty this quick.

lol, powerflow are apalling....even if you apid for the system i wouldnt have one...total crap.

Powerflow isnt that bad. Theres a 400 (yes, 400) kw/540bhp VW Chico (renamed Mk 1 golf still produced in South Africa) running a pair of power flows.

BTW if u dont believe me about the golf, check it out on http://www.zoopedup.comwww.zoopedup.com under "king of the hill".

Um, that doesnt proove anything, maybe it could be making 600bhp with anything else.

cant find the car mate, but im thinking the 20V turbo.......

If its rusting, just take it back.. lifetime guarantee!

And no, Powerflow arnt crap. Dunno what its like for power gains, but, no everyone cares about powergains.

Daz.

when your running a 540bhp gold i would be!

powerflow can make it fit, but they have no idea about performance flwo figures.

Thats exactly my point. This car represents engineering excellence. He could have chosen any other system but he chose them. It is a twin engined, twin gearboxed, twin turboed special. You dont just stick anything on it.

twin engine! oh, thats not as impresive....:p

well, with a turbo effort, tunned lengths and back pressure quantities are not important....you just need flow and a big pipe.

As far as i know.............stainless steel dont rust.........does it ???

Thats what I thought....thats the whole point to SS systems is that they dont rust. Take it back if its rust u were conned and it made out of recycled tin cans

Have you ever seen what happens to s/s over time?

and the tubes is one part, you seen the welds on a powerflow system, to say amatuer is being nice.

i personally woudnt bother, they really dont have any idea about exhaust theory.
