poxy Car - Gear LInkage

just been out for a quick burst in me valver the poxy thing wont go in to second most of the time really have to force it thorught is this gear linkage????????

Check if its the clutch or linkage.

If its not hard to get it in gear at a stand still try this.

Accelerate up through first gear, just as you let off to change gear, ignore the clutch totally, pull into second gear and hold pressure on the stick. Itll pop in very easily and smoothly. If it grinds your too slow or its the linkage.

You can drive the car without a cluth all day long if you time the change, and its not hard.

No, it wont hard the box unless you sit there grinding away, remember, you only have one change per rpm drop to get it in, if you miss youll have to rev it then try again.
