Preping for RR...

Taking my car on the RR next Sat and just wondered whats the best things to do in prep for it?

Clean the airfilter i tak it? Never done this, any tips? lol

Plugs are fairly new, maybe clean them up?

Any advice peps? Any predictions? lol

Made 144atw last time and the only change is the supersprint manifold...

Get some air filter oil mate, give your filter a good clean and let it dry naturally out of direct sunlight.

Spray the oil on your filter liberally and refit.

I wouldnt personally bother cleaning the plugs if she's running ok.

Get yourself some Optimax :)

I run it on S/unleaded anyways now its chipped. My last one used to pink and was advised to. Cant do any harm!!

Anyways, cheers smokey. I'll get the filter out later and let it dry over night...

As for the prediction, that'll be nice! I recon i'm either goin to be really happy or really disapointed. either way i know its fookin nippy! lol

Mint mate, Good luck anyways.

I have never RR'd any of our Clio's but may do the Hybrid eventually

Tbh i dont really care what it makes. Its just the skoda lot are having an open RR day just down the road from me. Its only £10 for two runs so....

Just as i'm doing it, want my best result.....

  TDI tyre shreader
Check all levels coolant and oil are vital as they will be working at there hardest on a rr. Also check your tyre pressures are up to their correct pressures. if you want to make a slightly inflated power figure pump the tyres up to about 50psi - less drag on the rollers :->

don't bother, it won't make sod all difference

put 50psi in your front tyre, that'll give you +20bhp
