Standard renault or uprated, cheers.

Been quoted £140 for genuine renault set up.

Afternoon Gents,

Just replaced all the pads and disks (front and rear) on my 182 for under £200. Bought the package of ebay (all new gear). Got grooved discs all rounds and EBC Red Stuff pads all round. Fitted them myself and the brakes are now superb - and for that price it is a very good deal. Cant remember the guys name but he sells them for all makes off cars, a quick search for "clio 182 brakes" should do it.

regards
Adam

I would go for the Brembo HC discs from GSF.com, I think they around £60 for the pair.

They will probably stock Renault pads 9ATE or Textar) for around £40 also.

thats a good price for brembo max and with no delivery cost i allmost feel like i should be wearing a balaklava

I have just getting these discs Brembo Max for £90,very good, also got some EBC greenstuff pad for £48.

Brembo HC disks are fine but I would get better pads, green stuff are ok. The standard pads f**k up your paint work.

I have just had the greenstuff pads put in at Rentech, very impressed so far, good bite, and no squeeling, which alot of the performance ones do.

Mines getting the same combo fitted right now, do u have to run new discs and pads in a little?

Nope give them hell 60 to about 10mph a few times hard then let them coold down don't use them and they should be fine harder pads need a harder bed in.

Whats the weak link, pads or discs??

Padgid are these wheel eaters??

Get the best prices you can find, then give GSF a ring and they will try and beat the prices you got, they did with my brother.
