Price of a decent set of Turini's?

  Iceberg 172
Hi guys,

How much would you pay for a good set of Turini's with a set of decent tyres?

Would a set of 5 with all decent tyres make a huge difference to the price?

Thanks,

Steve

No not at all but 4 Toyo Proxies are what... £300. The wheels are about £700.

So I was kinda expecting £500 minimum I guess.

5 wheels plus tyres i'd say around £500 mate. If you find the right person. you could put them on ebay but you'll not garantee you're going to get near that.

I paid £300 for the four of mine, but they was in desperate need of a refurb and new tyres.

You usually get more seperating the tyres from the wheels, dependant on if you have buyers for both of course.

It's always interesting to see what turinis go up for sale at, as most likely they are all usually very different in condition, brand of tyres and again, condition.
At the end of the day, put them up for what you want, you'll soon find out if they are priced too high as you won't sell them - simply revise the price (and keep on revising the price till they sell..)

Edit:
Also, my anthracite turinis will be up for sale soon, one of the reasons why it's taken so long is deciding the price.
Same goes for my brembo brakes (I think they'll go on ebay tbh.)

Thanks for the advice guys... If I'm only going to get a few hundred for them i'll keep them as a spare set!

Yeah but you have to consider that if they went new they'd be getting the tyres for sweet feck all. £500 seems fair though if they're in decent condition.

i paid 700 for mine second hand 2yrs ago they where mint condition, brand new tires on, they are 17" though in anthracite, never looked back, i had to buy a new one last year and brand new cost me £170 direct from speedline which included a 10% discount but all in all i have no regrets buying them i still use them now
