Price on Repairin Gearbox

iv got a mk2 ph 1 1.2 and the gearbox has just f**ked, aprently its the selectors (parkers told me this) and they qwoted me 820 qwid to referb it, aprently thats what needs doin. anyone got any views on this?

Get a second hand box from Matt at Renault specialist breakers (01254 386661) for about £150 or so then pay say £300 to get it fitted with a new from there.
You can fit it yourself it you want but unless your feeling competant don't bother.

if u bring a loose box to us its £160 plus parts
an extra £160 if we take it out
