printer help

i need to get a new printer but was wondering if it was possible to plug it into my wireless router instead of my laptop ???so i dont have the wires everywhere....is it possible to do this??do i need a certain type of printer???or can i just set it up likes it on a network???

You can get certain tyes of wireless router that you can plug usb printers into, or you can buy a printer than can be connected directly to a network, but they tend to be more expensive I think.

You can buy printers with inbuild printer servers but they can be expensive and I think, tend to be laser printers.
