How can you tell if your exhaust is blowing? is it just a case of getting under and having a feel?

ish, if its pretty cold, get someone to stick their hand over the tailpipe on idle, it can make the leak more obvious. Is it the standard system? If so look for the join at the rear box, or around the centre section, very common weak points!

yeah its the original exhaust from new - its done well really!

put a cloth over the exhaust, if it doesnt stall then you have a leak (so im informed)

As above. The join on my prev exhaust wasnt properly sealed. Made almost what id describe as a wooshing noise under moderate load. Worth getting it sorted as itll likely be robbing you of power if it is blowing.
