This is probably going to flop like soggy cardboard, but i'm just after confirmation mine wasn't the only POETS 172 nailed together!

my current list of faults in date order:

camshaft failure @ 40k miles - after 4 days of ownership - new engine in
earth strap snapping - 2 weeks after new engine fitment
alternator burning out - 2 weeks after earth strap replacement
Gearbox seals tearing - 6 weeks after new alternator
electronic throttle pedal failure - 2 days after gearbox seals replaced
3 weeks later came off road as mot / tax / insurance all expired same day!

car sat for 2 years in storage

came home last weekend, moved 2 miles from storage to garage
now has oil leak from sump gasket!

is currently sat in garage awaiting new gasket and new cat

where do i start,
Split CV boot the very next day from purchase, went in to get fixed then when they took it for test drive the rear bearing collapsed,when they went to fix that they found the little shims behind the discs were missing so needed new stub axle's
FIXED FOR FREE BTW

Exhaust snapped
On my 3rd TB since owning car
Drive shaft went
Week after shaft the box went
Rear caliper
front shocks
cracked sump by the t***s who fitted box
UCH fault
clutch/box again at present
other rear caliper at present
