As title says really. Has anyone with 225 tyres had issues with them catching or rubbing especially when lowered?

Problems with 205/45/15 tyres.

225 is way too wide for the little clio :smile:
I running eibach lowering springs on konis, and I had the rubbing problem.
Now I got back to the original size 195/50/15 and Its all ok!
BUT! I experienced that various brands "195" tires are really 205's.
For example the 205/50/15 Federal RSR are measured 215
195/50/15 Federal RSR are measured 205
195/50/15 R1R are the closest to be 195
If you want to stay at 205 - the only way is to cut off parts of the whee arches.

I had issues with 225s rubbing but that was on my Impreza.
