Problems with clio 1.2

hi i know its not a clio sport but any info would be great.



i have a 1.2 clio 2001 problem is it is not starting the engine turns but takes about 8-10 time to fire and works fine. Toomey renult reckon its a fuel pump problem but i have check all spark plugs and fuel is going into the engine. Change crank sensor and wiring.

all this has happened since i have change to a new battery at christmas im thinking its a relay problem?

oh the immobiliser and alarm is not working which is what i asked renult to check but i are about as good as a chocolate teapot.

i really would be greatful for your input so i can try and get to the bottom of it

I had a similar thing on my 172 last week, but it was only taking 3 turns before it fired, and then not at all. I had the ignition relays/fuses cleaned up as they were a bit oxidised, and now it works fine. Try this perhaps?
