Problems with Intel PRO/Wireless 3945BG network card

Bloody thing takes forever to switch on upon start-up.

Its on a Samsung R700 laptop, running vista. Just 2 months old.

The wireless light on the laptop is on, but just immediately states that no wireless networks can be discovered. Stays like that for about 15mins, and then suddenly finds all the wireless networks in the area.

Sometimes if i switch the wireless network off from the laptop function buttons and leave it ten mins, then it seems to reset it upon switching it back on and works again.

I've tried upgrading the driver etc, to no avail.

Anyone got any ideas? Have the same sort of problems?

Take it back to the shop as it sounds faulty

i had this problem on my dell. reinstalled vista, and it connects every single time now within seconds.

that wasnt the only reason i reinstalled, it just happened to solve that problem also.

I 2nd sco30tt ive had many problems with there software, try reinstalling the pro wireless set software package.
