Procedure for rejection

Does any one know the procedure for rejection, once you have given the car back to dealer, Renault UK has been out to look at my car more tims than i can remember, is this the procedure or are they just wasting time?

It is having the patience to persist, they have had the car a month today, this is the tenth time it has been in dont mean to moan but patience is really wearing thin. Getting very annoyed maybe its time for some heavier action.

PM Bikeman (i think thats his username) Hes just successfully rejected a Cup and im sure he can tell you the procedures.

If his username doesnt work, do a search.

The car has been in a total of ten times, mostly for a day, 2 times for more than a week and this tenth time is 4 weeks to day on going i think it is ridiculous. Renault technical is coming out to look at it next week so that will makeit 5 weeks.

It has a knocking noise on drivers side when going round corners, its like a metal to metal shuddering noise, they have supposely rebuilt the front end in the last 3 weeks and the noise is still there?

the knocking is the shocker tops.there is a mod but sometimes it doesnt work and no new solutions have been released yet.If you want to reject it contact renault customer services as a first step.

The mod has been done and no it hasnt worked, the car has been rejected but they keep getting renault technical to come out and have a look at it i just wondered whether this is standard procedure or whether theey are just dragging their feet.

Hi folks, did someone call??? ;)

If you want to reject the car, get a solicitor who specialises in Consumer Law (Litigation). You should be able to find one in the yellow pages. Speak to them (the first meeting is usually free) and get them to take your case. Explain it to them and see what advice they offer. If rejection is an option, youll have to dump the car at the dealers, with all keys, and then get your solicitor to deal directly with the dealer and the finance company (if the cars on finance). Renault UK are, quite frankly, a waste of space and you will not get anything out of them. A solicitor threatening legal action was the only way I could get my case sorted. It may take a while (months)...

Good luck, and ask on this post (or PM me) if you need any more info.

Thanks for that, i have spoken to the managing director at the dealer and he has offered me his 172 53 plate i turned this down as it would have two owners on it im not paying 14500 for a second hand one, he then offered me a V6 but i had to put the rest of the cash cant afford to damn shame, ill see what report renault technical do on wednesday and go from there, at the moment i am driving one of their 1.4 megane it is horriblei cant wait to get this sorted.
