Progress of the mk1 over the last 6 months - help- your views?

looking through some odl pics of when i had the car, to what it looks like now. looking back, i dont know weather its an improvment or not? . kinda like it with the clean multispokes. whats your view?
the pics arnt a big time line. but pics from when you can see a noticable diffrence.

1st pic. When i first got the clio. it was high as a kite, and it had the alloys i bought from halfords. they were rip off of toras..ripspeed models. not the best, but figured whilst i was learning they were going to get wreked.

2nd. This is when the cleeze got lowered. looked alot better when it was low. 55mm on the front and 80mm on the back.

3rd. This is when i had the turbines on - had it fully stripped with 2x buckets ...harness and e.t.c. i turned my car from a practically car, to a track like ****. id also got my exaghst on, however needed abit of modding, so was on the piss for a short while.

4th. This is how my clio stands now. Its got all the seats back in to make it more practical. and also im being used as a family taxi whilst my moms in hospital. the exaughst got sitting straight so it looked abit better.

5th. This is also how it stands now, but just a arty pic :]

looking back over time, i dont know weather my car has improved or got worse.?

I quite like it mate! Turbines look spot on! Next i'd get the bumpers coloureed coded!

3rd pic is my favourite. I wouldn't bother colour coding, leave it as it is.
The exhaust i hate.
I'd have a single 3" outwardly rolled one, rally stylee.

haa, funny you should say that. its booked in at powerflow end of the month to have exactly that. cat back syste. 3'' out rolled.

The bucket **** look was good, but family comes above that obviously. The new exhaust sounds spot on. Keep it clean and keep up with the back to black and its great. Ripe for your conversion

haha. the conversion isnt goin to be that big. want something that will drop straight in. i got something up my sleeve haa. dont think i have seen one on here before either.

only thing that i think spoils it is that exhaust which tbh is a bit "chav style" but with the new one u mentioned it would be good

i was thinking of gettin the bumpers and bonnet sprayed black, but thats on the verge of chavvyness im thinking haa.

might keep it like this , change zorst. lower it and polish up the turbs. make it a sleeper. ?

Its hard to judge from black and white pics but I wouldn't colour code the bump strips and spolier etc. If you come across some factory painted RT bumpers then they'd probs be worth buying

Subtle improvements like 16v brakes, genuine front fogs are the way forward imo

other alloys got sold and they were ripspeed ons haa. they were a temporary measure whilst i was learning!

oh, and the rear streetrace sticker is removed.

i recon it looks damn good atm. maybe subtle tints.
replace the bumpers/wings with 16v one and paint
the bumpers matt black...would b a nice little touch
if your dropping a more powerfull engine in cause it
still keeps it looking like a sleeper.

I think it looks really nice, although I am not keen on the wheels. I think your old ones looked alot better, but that's just my personal taste. I'm glad you are getting the exhaust done. Apart from those two little bits I think she looks lovely.

I like the idea of colour coding, but I also think keeping the car original (as in colour) with the nice black bumpers will make it stand out more. Most people go for colour coding these days, so if you want to be different, keep it as it is. Keep a good stock of back to black and you'll be sorted.
