if it's baked in the oven should be ok to seal providing you don't use anything abrasive. if they haven't cooked it, it's best to leave it a couple of weeks before sealing.
If it's good condition, maybe wise to seal it with something more long lasting than EGP
Abrasives are fine, we flatten and polish all out stuff straight out the booth.if it's baked in the oven should be ok to seal providing you don't use anything abrasive. if they haven't cooked it, it's best to leave it a couple of weeks before sealing.

As above, if it's from a decent bodyshop that have baked the item in the oven, you can wax and polish straight away.
Re a decent sealant, Chem Guys Blitz is a good option for long lasting protection and great looks. Easy to apply and top up as well.
I'm in the same position as the op. Got my car back with a freshly painted front and want to protect it.
Do I need to apply polish to the new paint or can I just go ahead and seal?
The rest of the car is going to be clayed and polished and sealed
do you have a link where to buy this stuff, i take it you can't get it in halfords?
