PS3 controller problem

  Octy VRS
Just thought I would check if anyone has had any problems. Mine keeps saying "controller diconnected, please re-connect" randomly. I press the PS button and it re-connects for a few minutes then does it again. At first I thought it wasn't charged but I have charged it and it even does it with the cable attached. I've reset it too but no change.

I've tried a few other forums but no joy!

Anyone?

I see your thread on AVF, seems dodgy mate. I've had absolutely no issues with my controller at all in fact it amazes me how long the battery lasts in it.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but might be worth resorting to Sony careline.

USB cable 1,000,000,000 metre - £1.50 Maplin.

It's wireless, it lasts for a week (or more) with average play. Hardly an issue.

Bugger! A guy on Resistance forums said he had the same and it just sorted itself out. I'm not convinced it will though. I'll hold out over the weekend and see.

I hardly ever need to charge my controller so it's not much of a problem.

Have you tried resetting the controller and pairing it to the PS3 again?

Never had a problem with it running out, it's been great. I've tried resetting it too. I guess I'll have to go through the returns process. Lucky our staff shop has them in stock at the moment.
