If they introduced an updated pad with rumble I might consider it but otherwise its a step backwards.

The PS3 controller is Bluetooth, therefore it doesn't have to operate on line of sight (i.e it works through objects/walls).

Sorry what I meant is that the WII has the bar which aquires the controllers location and from the XYZ co-ordinates it calculates it's location on the screen and where it has moved to in x amount of time with simple calculations.

I know the ps3 is bluetooth and also wi-fi, but there is no unit which is visually seen that pics up the information i.e like the wii.

Hope that makes sense, yes the one of the demo is wired, but when they guy is flying the plane, i do not think that is wired.

rumble was a legal reason, was a dispute over the technology but thats been sprted out now so no reason why it shouldn't appear in a store by you soon!

ps3 is amazin and im lucky anoth to have one and dont have a bad word to say about it apart from having to charge the controllas every now and then but thats all takes about 5 mins to charge fully and last for like a week.

alot of people of people dont rate it iver because they have a xbox 360 and wish they had a ps3 or simply cant get one lol if any thing get it just for MotoStorm

TBH im not bothered about the controller not rumbling.
It never felt "realistic" to me.
Say your playing a racing game you hit a wall, so your controller rumbles.
Whats realistic about that? If you were in the car it wouldnt "Rumble"!!

Its also nice coming from an XBOX 360 controller to finally get back to a PS2 type controller.
Theres no need to change it. Worked great on the PS2 why shouldnt it on the PS3

I prefer the PS3 controller to the 360, playing on the 360 this week felt very strange after so much time recently on the PS3.

GT4 looks great upscaled on the PS3 and plays better than GT HD.

I'm gonna wait for the price to drop, see if the graphics improve to 360 levels and the online side gets better then if they introduce a rumble pad I will buy.
