Ps3 harddrive question...

If have the 40gb original version of ps3 purchased march 2008.

Hoping to nick my brothers slim ps3 which he got two months ago, now just realised how easy it is to take harddrive out of the 40gb, is it possible to put this harddrive into my brothers ps3, is it as easy to remove the harddrive from the slim versions?

The hard-drive just clicks out which is why I was telling you to just swap them. Lol there exactly the same drive in both so will def fit aly. I thought you didn't quite understand when I told ya about it. Lol

Kev i am useless with anything technical hence why i ditch cars before they are 3 years old!

Whilst you can swap the HDDs over easily, be aware that when you reboot the PS3, it automatically formats the HDD and erases everything on it. This can't be skipped.

Worth backing up all your saves etc to a memory stick first.
